In our work together, you’ll find a space where love and grief can coexist—

A space where your sorrow is honored, but so is the unbreakable bond you share with one another and your child.

Through deep, compassionate support, we’ll navigate the pain while helping you find ways to parent, remember, and stay connected, even in loss.  You don’t have to choose between grieving and loving - you can do both, and I’ll help you discover how.

Grief is deeply personal, and no two people—especially no two partners—experience it in the same way.

That’s why my approach is rooted in deep empathy and client-led therapy, creating a space where both of you can grieve together while also honoring your individual journeys. I understand that loss can strain even the strongest relationships, so I help couples navigate their grief in a way that fosters connection rather than isolation.

Through customized immersive therapy, I support you in processing trauma, easing emotional overwhelm, and finding ways to parent through loss. In these extended sessions you’ll have the  benefit of extra time and space—allowing both of you to step away from daily pressures and fully engage in the healing process.

These focused sessions give you and your partner the opportunity to explore where you are in your grief, gain clarity, and move forward in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.

Healing isn’t about forgetting—it’s about learning to carry love and loss together, in a way that honors your child and strengthens your bond.

Losing a child isn’t something you 'get over' or recover from.

Working with me means you will be validated in your unique grief experience, affirmed as a parent, and find meaning in enduring bonds with your child.

You didn’t choose to be a member of the grieving parents club—you were thrust into it. Along with it came an invisible backpack weighed down with heavy stones of memories, regrets and what ifs. No one else can see it, but you feel it. Every day. All day.

I can’t carry it for you, but I can help you adjust the straps and find your footing. Together, we’ll balance holding on and moving forward, shared sorrow and personal growth. You won’t just survive your loss—you’ll learn to live with love alongside it and take your first steps forward.

My own painful losses have taught me the value of compassion and given me the courage to seek and provide support along with the strength to heal.

I don't just sit with you as a professional - I walk with you as someone who understands what it means to feel broken, lost and unsure of what's next.

My clients describe me as compassionate, gentle, and deeply attuned to their grief. With specialized expertise in trauma and loss, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can process the weight of your experience at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach honors the depth of your love and pain, helping you move toward healing in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable. This could mean sitting quietly, giving you space to cry or offering you space to relive positive memories and share pictures of your child.   Clients often share that through our work together, they’ve found moments of relief, clarity, and even hope—when they once thought those feelings were out of reach.

My Guiding Principles

Compassion First

Every parent’s grief journey is unique. I provide a non-judgmental, deeply attuned space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.

Raw, real, honest

Grief is messy.  I don’t offer platitudes or pressure you to “get over it.” Instead, I hold space for the real, rawl, and honest parts of loss.

A parent, always

Your love did not end, and neither did your identity as a parent. I honor your role, your bond, and your grief, helping you find ways to carry your child’s memory with you while moving forward.  You are, and will always be, their parent.

Healing at your pace

There is no timeline for grief.   I will honor you where you are while helping you take meaningful steps forward, when you’re ready.

Holding & honoring stories

Your story matters. I help you process and reframe your experience so it holds meaning without defining your future.

Resilience through connection

You don’t have to carry your pain alone. Healing happens in relationships—whether in therapy, community, or through self-compassion.

Blue Sky Therapy & Consulting

Because grief needs more than time. It needs space, patience, and understanding.

The name Blue Sky Therapy & Consulting comes from my own experience of finding comfort and connection in the sky above. In moments of loss, I’ve looked up—especially in the vast, open skies of Colorado where I grew up and have been fortunate to spend many summers—and felt the presence of those I love, a quiet reminder that they are never truly gone. Grief can feel like an endless stretch of gray, but in time, with space, patience, and support, the blue begins to break through. Blue Sky is here to help you find that shift—to honor your loss while making room for light, love, and hope.
